Prospecting, It’s an Art

Each and everyone one of us has been sold to. We have all been prospects. In fact, many of us are prospects right now. With that, we have all had both good and bad experiences with this and a majority of the time it comes down to how the salesperson treated us.

With that, the way you prospect will have a tremendous impact on the success of your business. So, how do we go about finding prospects? We focus on networking.

Let’s dive into a few strategies…

If you have been around the industry for a while you have likely been encouraged to make a list of your close family and friends. And, chances are, that didn’t work out so well. There is, however, a way to approach your warm market. Rather than making a list of your close family and friends, audit all of the contacts you currently have. This involves looking through the contacts on your phone, in your email and on your social networks. As you go through your contacts note the ones you believe would benefit from the products or the New Earth opportunity. As you build this list be sure to include the reason why you are adding each and every person to the list. This one step will help significantly when it comes to reaching out.

When you are finished with this task you will likely have a hefty list of prospects to reach out to.

So, what happens when this list is exhausted? We turn to networking before it does!

This industry is referred to as networking marketing for a reason… because networking is crucial for success. We are in a relationship business.
