With today being independence day we can’t help but think about, and be grateful for, the freedom that we enjoy.

Have you ever stopped to think about what it really means to be free? Yes, as Americans we have the freedom to essentially do as we please with very little limitation but are we really practicing freedom?

This is a great quote from William Faulkner, “We must be free not because we claim freedom, but because we practice it.” The fact that we reside in a free country doesn’t necessarily mean we are living a free life. There are many other factors that can hold us back from truly enjoying and practicing freedom including money, fear, our mindset, our jobs…and the list goes on.

The direct sales industry as a whole offers a unique opportunity to practice freedom daily. Its a model where you get out what you put in, where you determine your hours, where you determine your location and the list goes on. It offers you the freedom to work how you choose.
