From the Home Team—Taking a Closer Look at Your Commissions
When you’re running your own business, it’s only natural to want to check in on how it is doing throughout the month. In the case of your New Earth business, that likely means that you are inclined to occasionally check in on how much you’ve earned in commissions during the most recent or current commissions period. The fastest and easiest way to find this information is in the “Your Performance” section of your Business Portal Dashboard. Let’s quickly walk through how you can do this.
1) Find the “Your Performance” section of your dashboard. Upon logging into your Business Portal, you will land on the Dashboard page. Scroll to the bottom of this page to find the section titled “Your Performance.”
2) Filter the data to show Commissions. Above the graph that is shown, click on the “Commissions” button to have the graph show information related to your earned commissions.
3) Set your dates for the appropriate commission period. Now, you will need to decide which commissions period you will want to view and set the dates on the graph accordingly. For example, if you are looking at this data today, there are likely two commission periods you are interested in: 1) the commissions you earned during the June commission period, and 2) the commissions you’ve earned so far this month. Depending on which time frame you are interested in, you will want to set the dates accordingly by clicking the date range drop down in the top left corner of the section, selecting either “last month” for the June commission period or “this month” to show the current month to date.
4) Examine the data. Now the graph is showing the commission’s data for the time frame you selected. Additionally, above the graph (on the left side of the section), you will also see the total earned commissions for that time period. If you are hoping to use this information to get an idea of what you can expect your upcoming commission payment to be, this is where you want to look.
With all that being said, there is one important thing you should know. The very first section of your Business Portal Dashboard gives you a quick overview of your commissions. However, please keep in mind that the numbers given in this area are not fully reflective of any particular commission period. The amount shown for “Approved” is the sum of all approved commissions that have not been paid yet, and the amount shown for “Paid” is the total amount of commissions you’ve earned with New Earth since the launch of our current compensation plan.

Bonus tip: When you find a new recipe that works for you, take a picture of it (or video yourself making it) and post about it on your own social media pages. Make sure you include your Personal Referral Link to encourage others to grab some algae and give the recipe a shot for themselves.
