From the Home Team – Overcoming Procrastination

Is there something you’ve been putting off? Something you know will bring you closer to achieving all of your business goals, but that you’re having trouble convincing yourself to do? If so, you aren’t alone. Procrastination is one of the biggest obstacles we face when it comes to managing our time and reaching our goals. It’s easy to put off tasks that we don’t enjoy or find challenging, but doing so only leads to more stress and pressure as the end of the month approaches.

The key to overcoming procrastination is to take action now. Break down your large tasks into smaller, more manageable chunks and set a deadline for each. Use a calendar or to-do list to keep track of your progress and hold yourself accountable. And most importantly, don’t be too hard on yourself if you slip up, just learn from your mistake and keep moving forward. Whatever task you’ve been putting off, it’s time to get to it. Get out your list of prospects that you spoke with at the beginning of the month and give them a quick call or send them a short email to check in and see how they are doing. Who knows?
