We’ve got an exciting day planned. We’ll be visiting The Historic Railroad Trail. Visitors can walk or bicycle along the elevated railroad bed used to haul supplies and materials for the construction of Hoover Dam. Plus there are great panoramic views of Lake Mead, Boulder Basin, and Fortification Hill.

We’ll also stop at the Valley of Fire. It is the oldest Nevada State Park and was named for the magnificent red sandstone formations that were formed from great shifting sand dunes during the age of the dinosaurs.
